L'Amore Vince is built to be a safer way to meet real people — text first, voice next, face last, and a daily check-in so the person you're talking to is really here today. No system removes every risk, so this guide helps you protect yourself at every step. Trust your instincts: if something feels wrong, you can stop at any time.

1. Before You Connect

  • Read the trust signals. A recent daily check-in means the person showed up today. Gaps or a missing check-in are worth noticing.
  • Look at the timeline. Consistency over time is a good sign; sudden changes or a brand-new presence pushing hard to advance is not.
  • Remember you are never obligated to advance. Round 1 is free, and you can end any connection at any time.

2. During Text (Round 1)

  • Take your time. Round 1 is free and text-only — there's no rush to share more.
  • Keep early details private. Hold back your full name, home or work location, financial details, and passwords.
  • Early red flags: instant declarations of love, requests for money, pushing to move to another app immediately, or refusing simple questions.
  • If the conversation feels off, you don't owe anyone your voice or video. Trust your gut.

3. During Audio (Round 2)

  • Listen for pressure tactics — guilt, urgency, or anyone trying to rush you toward video, contact, or meeting up.
  • Be cautious if their story keeps changing, or if they dodge straightforward questions.
  • You can end the call at any moment, no explanation required.

4. During Video (Round 3)

  • This is the first time you see each other. Notice whether what you see matches what you've been told.
  • Recording consent: recording audio or video of another person without the consent of everyone involved is prohibited. Don't record others, and report anyone who records you.
  • Stay in control of your surroundings — keep identifying details (mail, documents, location clues) out of frame.

5. Contact Exchange (Round 4)

  • You decide whether and how to share contact. The private forwarding number lets you talk and text without revealing your real number.
  • If you share Instagram or Reddit, remember those profiles may reveal more about you than you intend — check what's public first.
  • Prefer the private number until trust is well established. Share your real number only when you're genuinely comfortable.

6. If You Decide to Meet in Person

Use this checklist:

  • Meet in a public place the first time — a café, restaurant, or other busy spot.
  • Tell someone you trust where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you expect to be back.
  • Arrange your own transportation. Don't rely on your date for a ride, and don't share your home address.
  • Keep your phone charged and with you.
  • Stay sober enough to stay aware, and never leave food or drinks unattended.
  • If anything feels wrong, leave. You don't need a reason or permission.

7. Red Flags

Be cautious if someone:

  • Asks for money, gift cards, crypto, or financial help — in any amount, for any reason.
  • Has gaps or inconsistencies in their check-in history.
  • Gives inconsistent details about their life, location, or identity.
  • Pressures you to advance rounds, meet, or send content before you're ready.
  • Requests explicit content, especially early.
  • Tries to move you off the platform immediately.
  • Seems too good to be true or showers you with affection unusually fast.

8. Livestreaming Safety

  • A livestream can be seen by people outside the conversation. Treat anything streamed as potentially public.
  • Everyone must consent before a stream begins. If you didn't agree to be streamed, you can refuse — and report it.
  • You can stop or leave at any time. If a stream makes you uncomfortable, end it and report the user.

9. If Something Goes Wrong

  • Block the person to remove them from your matches and stop further contact.
  • Report them using the in-app report button or by emailing support@lamorevince.com. Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team, and we act on credible reports as quickly as we can.
  • Save what you can (for example, screenshots of text) in case it's needed for a report or for authorities.

10. Emergencies

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — in the United States, call 911. L'Amore Vince support cannot provide emergency response and is not a substitute for the police or medical services.
